Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide (full-time or part-time) to support residents in our community. The role involves medication management, personal care, and collaboration with medical professionals and families under the Health and Wellness Director.

You will follow service plans, document care, and uphold regulatory standards in a compassionate, resident-centered setting. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CMA/HHA or CNA certification, and at least one

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience or similar role.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to read physician orders and translate to patient care.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology for medication management.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA and bloodborne pathogen guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow services outlined in each resident's service plan and pass medications as prescribed.
• Document completion of tasks daily.
• Document changes in resident condition per local rules and policies.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides for consistency.
• Assist in meal service including serving, clearing, and dining room upkeep.
• Supervise staff during shifts when needed and ensure safe operations.
• Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing trainings.
