Job summary

USA DeBusk Nitrogen seeks a Field Operator to operate nitrogen pumps and transports, perform inspections, and maintain equipment at customer sites.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, TWIC, and willingness to travel interstate up to 50%. Safety-first culture and SOP adherence are essential, with training provided for new operators.

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience operating a Nitrogen pump.
  • Willing to travel Interstate 30–50% of the year.
  • Valid TWIC card, Class A CDL, Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
  • NO RESTRICTIONS! Capable of driving a manual shift truck.
  • Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screens.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Operates Nitrogen pumps and associated equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Operates Nitrogen transports and drives between job locations.
  • Performs pre-job and post-job inspections and testing of pumps, transports and equipment.
  • Maintains and upkeep of Nitrogen units and related gear.
  • Adheres to HSE and SOP manuals and keeps a safe work area.
  • Writes daily logs, pre- and post-job reports, JSA and related docs.
  • Trains and mentors new operators on Nitrogen operations.
  • Participates in JSA’s and safety meetings.
  • Reads and understands SOPs related to the Nitrogen service line.

Company Profile:
USA DeBusk Nitrogen provides a full range of nitrogen services for customer plant or field operations, as well as for integrated support of complementary USA DeBusk services. We provide nitrogen, fabrication services, and chemical sales to upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas markets. Based in Deer Park, TX, we have multiple regional service centers to support customers throughout the United States and Canada and operate a major fabrication facility in Tishomingo, OK. Responsibilities:

  • Operates Nitrogen pumps and associated equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Operates Nitrogen Transports with minimal supervision.
  • Mobilizes equipment by driving Nitrogen pumps and transports (land operations only), or pickup trucks to the job location.
  • Conducts the pre-job and post-job inspections and testing of the Nitrogen pumps, transports, and any other auxiliary equipment.
  • Conducts the maintenance and general upkeep of the Nitrogen units and related equipment.
  • Maintains a safe work area or job site by following the company's HSE and Standard Operating Procedures manuals.
  • Monitors, inspects, and adjusts all major equipment during operations to ensure the equipment's adequate operation, such adjusting pump and injection rates.
  • Trains and evaluates new operators on Nitrogen equipment operations and procedures.
  • Delegates certain job tasks to junior operators during job operation.
  • Writes accurate daily logs, pre- and post-job reports, JSA's and other documentation as required.
  • Actively participates in JSA’s and safety meetings.
  • Has read and understands the SOP’s related to the Nitrogen service line.
  • For land-based operations, drive and/or load DOT-regulated vehicles both in-state and between states carrying company property that is used in furtherance of USADebusk's business and which substantially affects safety in intrastate transportation.
  • Trains and mentors Nitrogen operators and new employees on all aspects of the Nitrogen service line.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess 2 years’ experience of operating a Nitrogen pump.
  • Must be willing to travel Interstate 30-50% of the year.
  • Must possess a valid TWIC card.
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • Must possess a Tanker and Hazmat endorsement.
  • Must have NO RESTRICTIONS! Must be legally capable of driving a manual shift truck.
  • Must be capable of passing a hair follicle and urine drug screen.
  • Understand and follows verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements:
  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
