Job description

Scope:

This position is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mobile Nitrogen pumping equipment at customer sites. Services include cleaning, purging, drying, displacing, cooling, leak testing, and pressure testing of piping, furnaces, vessels, reactors, and tanks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a mobile Nitrogen pumping unit and related equipment safely at customer locations in accordance with Lindepolicies and procedures.
• Support the field team with rig in and rig out procedures, managing tools, hoses, and equipment on-site.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, managers, coworkers, and customers as needed.
• Complete required documentation, both handwritten and electronic.
• Adhere to LSI’s safety standards and culture.
• Work in a team environment to deliver high-quality customer service and professionalism, multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Perform basic maintenance on pumping and related equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass all background checks and drug screenings as required by Linde and its clients.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class A License with HAZMAT/Tanker endorsements.
• Preferred: 1+ years of relevant experience with cryogenic pumps, transports, and related compressed gas equipment.
• Preferred: Experience in chemical, refining, military, or technical training environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.

Working Conditions:

• Work outdoors, with lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and bending.
• Overtime and travel are required.
• Rotating schedule with potential field assignments up to 21 consecutive days.
• Training provided with opportunities for advancement.
