Job summary

Kaizen Labs seeks a highly experienced Security/FSO to stand up and manage the NISP program for a classified pipeline. You will own the FCL process, sponsor personnel into Kaizen's cleared workforce, and coordinate with legal and contracts to ensure DCSA readiness.

You will build security procedures, insider threat, and material controls from the ground up, leading cross-functionally with Ops, Eng, HR, and Legal. This is a leadership role in a startup defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience standing up a NISP program from scratch.
• Experience accrediting a SCIF per ICD 705 standards.
• FOCI experience including SF-328 filings.
• Strong NISPOM fluency and audit-readiness.
• DCSA Facility Program Management certification or plan to complete within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Drive the FCL application through DCSA assessment from day one.
• Sponsor and transfer cleared personnel onto Kaizen's facility clearance.
• Build and manage Kaizen's NISP program from scratch.
• Support security inputs to RFPs/BAAs and review DD forms 254s.
• Manage SF-312 non-disclosure agreements for cleared personnel.
• Conduct security education and awareness training for staff.
• Own FOCI documentation and reporting with legal coordination.
• Lead accreditation of future SCIF per ICD 705 from coordination to CSA approval.
• Collaborate with Business Ops, Engineering, HR, and Legal to embed security requirements.
