Job summary

Jeffco Public Schools in Colorado seeks a 9th Grade Student Success Coordinator to coordinate ninth-grade transition programming, family engagement, and MTSS-driven student support systems, ensuring incoming high school learners are connected and on track toward graduation.

You will lead grant implementation, collaborate with multiple schools and partners, analyze data to identify at-risk students, and coach school teams to sustain ninth-grade success practices across the district.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of successful experience as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, counselor, or other licensed educational professional at the middle school or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of ninth-grade success strategies, dropout prevention, MTSS, and related practices.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and guide interventions to improve student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the Ninth Grade Success Grant across assigned high schools.
• Develop and maintain an annual implementation plan for ninth-grade success activities and reporting.
• Coordinate districtwide ninth-grade transition processes and family engagement efforts.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to school leadership teams to sustain ninth-grade success practices.
• Monitor grant activities and ensure compliance with requirements.
