A leading jewelry company is seeking an innovative visual merchandiser to create unique displays and collaborate with retail teams. This full-time role involves designing visual strategies, training staff, and ensuring brand consistency across locations in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, creativity, and experience in graphic design tools.
This is a full-time salary role $55,000 / year with PTO & options for health benefits based out of our HQ office in Austin, TX. It does require approximately 20% of time monthly spent in store locations (Austin, Dallas, Houston).
We are looking for an innovative visual merchandiser to create unique DIY visual displays, troubleshoot existing displays, create eye-catching graphic elements and collaborate with retail teams within our 3 locations (Austin, Dallas & Houston) to assist in generating sales through creative retail displays that uphold company visual standards. You will employ visual merchandising principles, graphic design and DIY / crafting to convert window shoppers into prospects by driving branding and sales objectives in order to maximize profitability.
As visual merchandiser, you will coach team members on visual operations, merchandise placement and standards, visual display, and visual analysis, and inspire teams through shared vision, creativity, empathy, and empowerment, tailoring motivation to the individual and leveraging the strengths of the team.
This is a highly creative role that requires the ability to pitch new concepts to the owner utilizing In-Design or Canva and then to articulate those pitches by either independently creating displays (painting, building & installing) or outsourcing labor. The role is also analytical in nature and requires the merchandiser to spend time in store to understand the opportunity for improvement. Additionally, the person in this role must have experience training retail staff and have the ability to lead a team in-store for quarterly audits and floorsets.
