Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Faculty Cardiovascular Researcher at the Associate Professor or Professor level for a growing academic cardiologist program in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role balances roughly 70% clinical care and 30% protected research time in an NIH-funded environment with strong institutional support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical school
• Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or ability to obtain
• U.S. ACGME Residency
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing
• Experience in conducting industry sponsored clinical research trials

Responsibilities

• Provide general cardiology clinical care with potential subspecialty alignment
• Participate in clinical trials, outcomes research and translational studies
• Mentor junior faculty and contribute to program-wide academic growth
• Support independent investigator-initiated research within cardiovascular medicine
