Job summary

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Utah invites applications for a full-time General Cardiologist with an interest in academic practice. This faculty role combines clinical care, teaching, and research within a collaborative environment in Salt Lake City.

The ideal candidate will participate in inpatient and outpatient services, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology rotations, and engage in programs such as advanced imaging, cardio-oncology, and pulmonary hypertension

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by ABIM.
• Board-certified or eligible for Adult Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography.
• Board-certified or willing to sit for Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Utah.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.
• Participate in rotations in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
• Engage in advanced imaging, cardio-oncology, and pulmonary hypertension programs.
• Contribute to medical education, mentoring and teaching of students, residents, and fellows.
• Pursue clinical research and other scholarly activities.
