Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Federal Way, WA is seeking Back-of-House Team Members to join a team dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience. Positions include full-time and part-time options with Sundays closed, tuition reimbursement opportunities, and growth potential.

Team Members will prepare, cook, and present food to Chick-fil-A standards, stock and maintain a clean kitchen, and work under the guidance of experienced Operators and Leaders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30lbs.
• Willingness to learn Chick-fil-A standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of kitchen stations: fries, breading, assembling, boards.
• Stock kitchen inventory and keep area clean.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code; work safely around equipment.
• Support opening or closing tasks as assigned.
• Contribute to a positive, hospitable team culture.
• Learn from Operators and Leaders through in-house training.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean, and orderly at all times
• Keep up‑to‑date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and staying up‑to‑date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Take pride and ownership in the service and food we serve
• Multitask quickly yet thoroughly
• Be team‑oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic
• Work on their feet for several hours at a time
