Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. in Bedford, MA, seeks an Overnight Awake Counselor to support adults with developmental disabilities in a DD residential program.

The role requires staying awake through the night to assist and monitor residents, support morning routines, and administer medications as needed. The position offers a night schedule Thursday–Saturday 11pm–9am, with a starting hourly rate of $19.50 and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k),

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
Ability to drive residence vehicle and possess MA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Monitor and support residents during night shifts.
Assist with morning routines including meal prep and hygiene.
Administer medications as required by regulations.
Perform housekeeping and personal care tasks as needed.
Provide support and training to promote personal growth and accomplishment.
Report significant health, safety, and behavioral concerns.

Skills

Experience with adults with DD/ID

Drive residents vehicle

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
