Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is seeking a Sanitor for our Boston warehouse. You will follow an established cleaning schedule and perform janitorial tasks to maintain a clean, safe distribution center aligned with customer standards.

Responsibilities include organizing supply cabinets, waste collection for recycling and disposal, and maintaining break room and dock areas. The role requires physical activity and comfort in cold environments; weekend and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Sanitation and janitorial concepts and techniques.
• Identify problems or irregularities for early resolution.
• Work effectively in a general business environment, with focus on high level of quality and customer service.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely operate electric ride pallet jack and floor scrubber.
• Ability to pass forklift certification process.

Responsibilities

• Follow established cleaning schedule in the distribution center.
• Perform janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Organize and stock supply cabinets for break rooms, restrooms and locker rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of break rooms, dry and chill areas, and parking areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment and assist with facility maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
