Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for the full-time night shift at our Castle Rock, CO facility. Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license.
• Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school.
• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• Inpatient dual-diagnosis (SUD & MH) setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of medical provider in accordance with protocols and standards.
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and required admission documentation within established timeframes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and provide education.
• Assess patient needs, determine urgency, and initiate appropriate interventions or referrals.
• Monitor psychiatric symptoms, medication effectiveness, and safety; report changes.
• Transcribe, document, and implement provider orders, including verbal orders where permitted.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, nursing leadership, and treatment team for integrated care.
• Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards.
