Job summary

Cavalier Distributing is seeking a Nightshift Operations Team Lead. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, roughly 3:00pm until completion, with minimal weekend duties and notification two weeks in advance if weekend work is required.

Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits after 60 days including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, EAP, and a beer purchase reimbursement program to fuel your passion.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of commensurate supply chain experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications.
• Previous change management experience (driving, influencing and inspiring change through communication).
• Technology background; Encompass experience would be a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; on-call at various times; able to work holidays.
• Managing to ensure operational and safety excellence.
• Safe environment and culture promotion through ongoing training, team engagement, and regular review.
• Efficient operation of WMS and equipment.
• Slotting and product placement.
• Facility, equipment, and staff appearance and integrity.
• Coaching and training, promoting paths to success and retention.

Responsibilities

• The Team Lead is responsible for the success, productivity, and quality of supply chain distribution within the warehouse, and ensuring a safe and efficient place to work.
• Lead Shipping Operations (Pickers) and/or Office Operations (Routers, Analysts, General Office Associates).
• Work with the Operations Manager to develop strategies and objectives toward maximizing productivity.
• Delegate to achieve goals by engaging both teams and themselves in continuous pursuit of progress.

Cavalier Distributing is currently seeking a Nightshift Operations Team Lead. This full-time position is Monday through Friday working approximately 3:00pm until all work is complete. (Almost no weekends. There are 3-4 weekends each year where we may require a weekend shift. We will let you know 2 weeks in advance if you will be required to work a weekend.)

The Team Lead is responsible for the success, productivity, and quality of supply chain distribution within the warehouse, and ensuring a safe and efficient place to work. The Team Lead's responsibilities include: Shipping Operations (Pickers), and/or Office Operations (e.g., Routers, Analysts, General Office Associates). The Team Lead works with the Operations Manager to develop strategies and objectives toward maximizing productivity. The Team Lead must, solve problems, and lead by engaging both their teams and themselves in the continuous pursuit of progress. Delegation is key by achieving their goals through teamwork and embracing and aligning their respective teams with the Operations Manager’s objectives.

Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse is not temperature controlled, so temperatures may fluctuate. Must be able to work in cool/warm temperatures.
