International Wines & Craft Beer in Alabaster, AL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to assist the manager with training, supervise nightly warehouse operations, and ensure adherence to policies. You will organize floor space, conduct cycle counts, and manage shipping documents.

The role requires supervisory experience in a warehouse, strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and the capacity to lift 50 pounds; a drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Detail- and processes oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physical warehouse.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with training, coaching, and communicating job expectations to employees.
• Oversee nightly warehouse operations including quality control, order pulling, and loading delivery trucks.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Organize floor space to maximize storage.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and quarterly inventory counts.
• Reconcile variances in the operating system.
• Secure building via alarm nightly.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and is utilized and maintained.
• Run all shipping documents.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Responsible for securing building via alarm nightly
• Ensure all equipment is in proper working order and being utilized and maintained properly
• Responsible for running all shipping documents
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Primary Responsibilities:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Be able to communicate effectively with all business partners
• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting required
• Must be detail and processes oriented
• Able to adhere to rigorous deadlines
• Proficient in MS programs
• Have a willingness to learn/expand knowledge
• Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision
• Must be 21 years or older

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
• Able to walk, stand, and stoop on a consistent basis
• A drug screen and background check are required
• Position is salaried with potential for annual inventory bonuses
• Monday – Thursday, 11am – close (until work is finished). Must be able to work 4 Fridays and 4 Sundays a year
