Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Expanded Practice for Progressive Care. You will work under supervision of an RN, perform direct patient care and contribute to care plans on a rotating night shift.

This role includes wound care, specimen collection, medication administration as delegated, documentation, and collaboration with physicians, RNs, and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in state of practice.
• Active Kentucky license (single state or compact).
• BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of an RN, provides direct patient care.
• Collects data for RN-led patient assessment.
• Performs plan of care interventions including wound care and may administer medication as delegated.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Assists RN with development of plan of care.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
