Job summary

The Enclave at Barnesville is seeking licensed practical nurses (LPNs) for the night shift to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive skilled-nursing environment. You will document histories and vital signs, monitor progress, and administer medications per orders while assisting with nightly activities and safety concerns.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio LPN license, with 1 year of nursing experience preferred, especially in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN License (State of Ohio).
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred (long-term care a plus).
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and update residents’ medical histories and vital signs accurately.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the care team.
• Administer medications and basic medical treatments per provider orders.
• Assist residents with nightly activities such as hygiene, comfort, and safety needs.
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and notify the appropriate clinician.
• Collect specimens and assist with lab testing as needed.
• Provide emotional support and maintain positive communication with residents and families.
• Ensure compliance with all nursing standards, infection control, and safety guidelines.
