Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking Iowa Licensed Journeyman Electricians (Class A or Class B) for a Walmart remodel project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is a great opportunity for experienced commercial electricians looking for steady work on a large-scale retail renovation.

Start Date: July 26. Duration: ~16-18 weeks. Pay: Up to $55/hour plus $120/day per diem for qualified travelers. Shift: Night shift, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday; overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Class A or Class B Journeyman Electrical License (required).
• Commercial electrical experience required.
• Experience with big box retail remodels preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial lifts.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, bend, and run EMT conduit.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Rewire existing electrical systems.
• Replace and upgrade lighting fixtures with LED lighting.
• Perform electrical work as part of an active Walmart remodel.
• Work safely from aerial lifts and elevated platforms.
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and electrical codes.
