Job summary

ICON Clinical Research in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Overnight Clinical Research Nurse I (Onsite) to provide direct patient care during overnight trials. You will administer investigational products, monitor dosing, assess and report adverse events, and ensure participant safety while maintaining high data quality.

The role requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, an active RN license, and knowledge of GCP and clinical trial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Clinical research experience or regulated healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in alignment with study protocols.
• Monitor participants during overnight dosing and study participation.
• Identify, assess, and report adverse events per protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Perform clinical assessments, vital signs collection and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with physicians and research staff to ensure protocol compliance.
• Accurately document study activities and maintain records per GCP.
• Educate and support participants throughout the trial experience.
• Support overnight operations while maintaining high patient care and data quality.
