Job summary

Griswold Home Care of Lakewood is seeking compassionate night and weekend caregivers to help seniors live safely and comfortably at home. Flexible schedules and weekly pay make this a meaningful, reliable opportunity.

As a caregiver, you’ll assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and support with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and errands. Training and growth opportunities are available in a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• At least six months of caregiving experience, professional or for a loved one.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Willingness to learn and follow training and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and daily living assistance to seniors at home.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting and feeding as needed.
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Monitor well-being and communicate with the office team, including dementia support when required.

About the Role:

As a caregiver, you’ll make a real difference in someone’s daily life by helping them remain independent at home. Schedules are flexible and may include evening, overnight, or 24‑hour shifts, with some clients needing as little as four hours of care.

Care may include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, personal care assistance (such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding), dementia support, and clear communication with our office team.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for caregivers with reliable transportation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least six months of caregiving experience—whether professional or caring for a loved one. A willingness to learn is essential, and we’re happy to provide training and support along the way.
