Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility and policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and provide basic nursing care within LPN scope.
• Collaborate with team to meet patients' physical, psychosocial, age and cultural needs.
• Provide comfort and implement interventions per individualized care plan.
• Progress patient toward wellness and address ongoing care needs.
• Discuss care with patient and document status changes to RNs/doctors.
• Communicate therapeutically with patient, visitors and staff about treatment.
