Northlake Behavioral Health in Louisiana is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts and PRN coverage. The LPN provides direct patient care under RN supervision, administers meds, monitors patient status, and supports the behavioral health team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Louisiana LPN license, BLS, CPI, and at least 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in psychiatric/behavioral health preferred.
• Current Louisiana LPN license; BLS and CPI certifications; willingness to attend orientation classes if needed.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications as ordered and monitor patient responses.
• Take vital signs and report variances to RN.
• Assist with labs, EKGs, and other tests as ordered.
• Coordinate appointments and transportation for patients as needed.
• Participate in treatment planning and update care plans accordingly.
• Provide Nursing Education Group notes and ensure documentation in patient records.
• Handle clerical tasks, chart checks, and nursing forms as assigned.
