Tawa Supermarket Inc is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate (Picker) in Jersey City, NJ. This full-time role involves order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided), use the warehouse management system, and coordinate with other departments. The position requires a high school diploma, ability to work nights/weekends, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in warehouse operations preferred.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin or English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training may be provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform order picking using an order picker or pallet jack.
• Assist with shipping and receiving; load/unload trucks and prepare shipping documents.
• Maintain records of inventory in the warehouse management system.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Ensure products are properly stored and organized in the warehouse.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of warehouse equipment.
• Assist with packaging and labeling as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient flow of materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
