Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring a Pharmacy Delivery Driver to bring prescriptions directly to customers, delivering care with professionalism and a friendly attitude. The role requires dependable, customer-focused individuals who can navigate varying terrains and maintain vehicle cleanliness while upholding HIPAA privacy standards.

Qualifications

• No specific education required; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license; 18+ to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Deliver pharmacy customers' prescriptions to specified locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Enter and exit the delivery vehicle multiple times per shift, navigate staircases and varying terrain to reach delivery destinations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle inside and out.
• Facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain the confidentiality of customers' private medical information in accordance with HIPAA.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned.
• Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress standards, and all Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines.
• Report to work when scheduled and on time.
