Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. seeks a Service Meat Clerk to deliver prompt, friendly service in the Meat and Seafood departments. You will wrap, trim, stock cases, and receive merchandise while assisting customers with their needs in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring product freshness, proper sanitation, and organizing displays. Prior meat department experience and basic food safety training are preferred; overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with food safety training.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally; frequent standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, friendly customer service in the Meat/Seafood department.
• Wrap, trim, stock cases, and label merchandise.
• Assist customers by escorting to products and handling their requests to enhance the shopping experience.
