Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Service Meat Clerk to provide friendly customer service in the Meat/S seafood department. You will wrap, trim, stock cases and receive merchandise, ensuring proper sanitation and neat displays.

The role requires the ability to greet customers, assist with product selection, and work with coworkers to maintain a fast-paced, courteous environment. Night and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience required.
• Food safety training preferred.
• Six months or less of similar or related work.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels product and assists customers in locate items.
• Replenishes and organizes coolers; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Reports out-of-stock products and supports team members as needed.
