Updike Distribution Logistics, LLC is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support our 24/7 warehouse operations in Phoenix. Responsibilities include receiving, verifying, scanning, sorting, and organizing packages while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will assist drivers, handle pallets, and ensure accurate staging for outbound distribution. Candidates should have warehouse or logistics experience, familiarity with handheld scanners or WMS, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics preferred.
• Experience using handheld scanners or WMS preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound freight and verify shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Process, scan, and sort packages using handheld RF scanners.
• Organize and stage materials for outbound distribution.
• Sort and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers (Pallet jack, or by hand).
• Check in drivers and support them in locating and staging materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Support operational needs in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
