Job summary

Metglas, Inc., located near Conway, SC, seeks a Nights & Weekends Trainer & Safety Coordinator to support a 24/7 manufacturing plant serving Myrtle Beach. This role focuses on safety leadership on the plant floor and hands-on training delivery, including new-hire orientation, safety sessions, and on-the-job training.

You will design and conduct in-house training, manage training records, and develop annual training plans while coordinating with EHS and HR for program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in EHS safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced computer skills with Excel, Outlook, and presentation software.
• Ability to deliver training to groups.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends.
• Familiarity with training methods and e-learning a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety training and new-hire orientation.
• Deliver hands-on and forklift training.
• Develop in-house training programs and annual training plans.
• Conduct safety meetings and huddles.
• Assess training effectiveness and KPIs.
• Report to EHS Leader and HR Manager.
• Manage training facilities and records.
• Coordinate and deliver courses online and onsite.
