Job summary

The Retail Attendant at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, Food & Nutrition-Retail Ops, delivers coffee, food and bakery items with exceptional guest service to all guests.

Responsibilities include coffee and bakery production knowledge, food recipe handling, cash transactions, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while supporting ongoing staff training.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays is required to meet the needs of our guests and department operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
• Prefer two years experience in a high-volume direct customer interaction setting.
• Prefer ability to perform basic arithmetic functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, food and bakery products with exceptional service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coffee and bakery production processes.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support training and ongoing education initiatives for new staff.
