BiRite Foodservice Distributors in Brisbane, CA is hiring a Night Warehouse Worker to handle restocking, order picking and packing, inventory checks, and loading shipments. You will report to the Night Warehouse Manager and work on the 5x8 or 4x10 night shifts with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include organizing stock, building orders, verifying items, labeling, and ensuring on-time shipping while maintaining safety and clean work areas. Must be punctual with good communication.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Warehouse work experience is a plus.
• Must have good listening and verbal communication skills.
• Read, understand and follow written directions, manuals and safety labels.
• Must be punctual.

• Build and assemble orders for shipment.
• Fulfill customer orders by picking and packing items accurately.
• Load and wrap stock on pallets.
• Actively inspect inventory for damages.
• Mark and label stock according to company procedure.
• Stack items based on delivery routes.
• Report discrepancies to Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for varied daily tasks such as, but not limited to, restocking shelves, accepting deliveries, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. The Warehouse Worker will report directly to the Night Warehouse Manager.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Organize stock within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.


• Build and assemble orders for shipment.


• Fulfill customer orders by picking and packing items accurately.


• Load and wrap stock on pallets.


• Actively inspect inventory for damages.


• Mark and label stock according to Company procedure.


• Stack items/orders based on the delivery driver's stop route.


• Report any discrepancies to Manager.


• Other duties as assigned by Manager

• Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.


• Forklift and pallet jack experience, preferred.


• Warehouse work experience is a plus.


• Must have good listening and verbal communication skills.


• Read, understand and follow written directions, equipment manuals, warnings on labels for various cleaning agents, solvents and other equipment.


• Must be punctual.

Physical Requirements

• Significant walking (up to 8 hours).


• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, squat, push and/or pull, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to use hands and fingers to drive, handle and feel.


• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.


• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Conditions

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.


• The temperature of the warehouse may be cold.


• Will work in close proximity to other warehouse workers.

Hourly Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE

Schedules

5x8 Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Work can extend beyond 1:00 AM until tasks are completed.

4x10 Shift: Requires availability on Sundays and Thursdays, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Work can extend beyond 1:00 AM until tasks are completed.

• Please note: Schedules will be determined based on the operational needs of the company. The ability to work overtime is required to accommodate business needs, including during holidays***
