Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving of orders to meet productivity goals. The role requires physical stamina and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced food service distribution environment.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, read orders, and maintain safety standards while contributing to a service network that delivers to thousands of premium restaurants nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jack and lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine items to move.
• Move materials from receiving to storage or other areas as directed.
• Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and type.
• Use electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift as required.
• Ascend 25 ft on cherry picker in a safety harness, when applicable.
• Communicate with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check-in, and Forklift Operators.
• Adhere to safety practices for truck and trailer movements daily.
• Sort and store goods in designated areas of the warehouse.
• Handle company equipment and PPE responsibly; report safety concerns.
• Wear company-issued uniform.
• Assemble customer orders, place on pallets, and label pallets as instructed.
• Open bales, crates, and containers when necessary.
