Job summary

AmerisourceBergen Pharmaceutical Distribution and Strategic Global Sourcing is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a Nights shift (Sunday-Thursday). The role leads associates, directs receiving, shipping, and inventory processes, ensures safety, and maintains records for controlled substances.

It requires a four-year degree and at least two years of related experience. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to improve operational efficiency while ensuring accurate, compliant

Qualifications

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computersciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Responsibilities

Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of warehouse associates.
Monitors work processes and makes suggestions for modifications to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy.
Coaches employees to support their development in the role.
Oversees receipt of merchandise and ensures logs are maintained with accurate information.
Oversees the staff in counting, weighing and identifying items being shipped; checks against documents.
Oversees filling orders and shipping controlled substances with the assistance of cage/vault staff.
Maintains records of delivery processes and manifests for routes.
