Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is hiring a warehouse selector to join our distribution team in Ashland, VA. You will accurately and efficiently pick products for Wegmans stores, using your attention to detail and teamwork to ensure on-time deliveries.

Overnight shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts per week. Responsibilities include building pallets safely, operating forklift, pallet jack, and Vocollect, conducting order audits, and maintaining strict adherence to quality and cold-chain requirements where

Qualifications

• Warehouse selector on distribution team requiring attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift and Vocollect devices.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets safely and efficiently to maximize trailer space.
• Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and Vocollect equipment as needed.
• Perform order audits for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain product quality by following standards and temperature requirements.
• Communicate daily quality issues to operations management.
