Job summary

Sysco warehouse in California is seeking a Warehouse Selector to pick orders for delivery to local foodservice venues. This is a physically active role that uses electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts.

You will organize and palletize products, work in temperature-controlled areas (coolers, freezers), and perform other duties as assigned. Applicants should be 18+, with up to 1 year of experience, and be able to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Frequent lifting of 10–75 lbs, and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent reaching up to 72 inches.
• Bending and twisting while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Stand 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
