Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Night Warehouse Selector in Streator, IL. You will safely and efficiently select customer orders, palletize, and prepare shipments for dispatch, operating electric pallet jacks and using order selecting software.

The role requires physical endurance, comfort with multi-temperature environments, and the ability to work 8+ hour night shifts (Sun–Thu). Benefits and competitive pay reflect experience and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must read and communicate in English to attend trainings and enter information on reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday–Thursday; weekends/holidays as needed.
• Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selecting: Safely and accurately select customer orders and ensure correctness.
• Palletizing: Build and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Operation: Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks.
• Fulfillment: Transfer products using order selecting software.
• Staging: Move orders to designated dock and shrink-wrap pallets.
• Collaborate: Maintain safe aisles and return equipment to charging area.
• Adaptability: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
