Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in Dallas, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products across our facilities.

You will read schedules and orders to determine items to move, convey them to storage, and prepare customer orders for shipping while maintaining accurate records in our computer system. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and may involve driving between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Incumbents will follow supervisor instructions and perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to move or distribute.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production to storage or designated areas.
• Sorts materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Assembles orders and prepares them for shipping.
• Uses a computer to enter records and track inventory.
• Drives a vehicle to transport items between locations for shipment.
