Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse associate in Augusta, ME to select cases and other products from multi-level racks, then prepare orders for shipment. You will operate pallet jacks/forklifts, wrap pallets, and maintain safety and quality throughout the process.

Ideal candidates will have experience in high-volume environments, strong attention to detail, and dependable teamwork. The role requires standing, lifting up to 60–100 lbs, and compliance with safety and training procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume, production-driven environments.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify variances and lot codes.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and wear PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate items per order sheets.
• Move completed palletized orders to shipping dock and wrap as needed.
• Replace and recharge batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Complete required paperwork at shift end.
