Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a warehouse associate for a night shift in Hawthorne, CA. You will handle inbound/outbound freight, assist with receiving, storage, and packing operations while following safety procedures.

The role requires standing for long periods, forklift qualification (if assigned), and the ability to work overtime in a fast-paced environment. Strong math skills and attention to detail preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must twist, stoop, squat, reach, and lift safely.
• Background check and legal work authorization in the U.S.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Overtime availability and ability to commute to Hawthorne, CA.

Responsibilities

• Inbound/outbound freight handling and weighing against manifest.
• Storage optimization and safe product placement.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Assist inventory counts and document discrepancies.
• Process packing, repacking, and re-boxing per customer specs.
