Job summary
Expeditors in Eagan, MN is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced team. You will load and unload freight, verify counts, weigh freight, and maintain clean, organized work areas while using scanning equipment.
The role requires basic math, strong work habits, ability to lift 50 pounds, and forklift certification provided. Hours are 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months of direct experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to read, count, perform basic math, and write legibly.
Responsibilities
- Load trailers and ocean containers using tools/equipment for safe transport.
- Unload and receive freight, count freight, weigh, and verify against documents.
- Utilize scanning equipment across warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area.
- Communicate across product teams regarding volumes and capacity.
- Validate driver details for security.
- Maximize warehouse space usage.
- Assist in distribution, including systems work and pick/pack.
