Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control.
• Maintain Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and safe operation.
• Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and manage disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
• Prepare Activity Reports and resolve discrepancies in shipping and invoicing.
• Oversee inventory rotation and product storage.
