Job summary

Diamond Pet Foods is seeking a Warehouse Loader for night shift operations (6pm–6:25am). The role requires operating forklifts, loading orders, and maintaining damage-free products while following SOPs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include driver check-in/out, FIFO inventory, and coordinating with production staff. Overtime is mandatory; PPE must be worn at all times in a loud, indoor environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse setting.
• Must hold a valid CA driver’s license.
• 3+ years continuous sit-down forklift experience.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug, background, physical).
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, and access forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load finished product orders safely and efficiently.
• Follow SOPs for loading procedures, weight tickets, and load sheets.
• Ensure damage-free product and address damaged items promptly.
• Check in/out truck drivers professionally and efficiently.
• Support production staff and manage FIFO inventory.
• Stage pallets for shipments and communicate statuses to staff.
• Conduct daily inspections of loading dock equipment and trailer gear.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and safety PPE requirements.
