Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is staffing a Warehouse Associate at our Laredo Distribution Center. You will work on production lines to sort greenhouse grown peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers, ensuring products meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include learning quality standards, assisting with packaging and washing setup, maintaining a sanitized area, and safely handling sanitizing chemicals. You will be part of a team with strong attendance and a willingness to learn and support peers to hit

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Related work experience in food production is an asset.
• Proficient with the English language, both written and verbal.
• Available to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays may be required).
• Be respectful and deal tactfully with co-workers, customers and vendors.
• Keep all company information confidential.
• Complete a background and drug test screening.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain product quality standards that meet customer specifications.
• Assist in packaging/washing set up, as needed, to ensure smooth flow of product.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized department that meets all food safety requirements.
• Must handle all sanitizing chemicals safely, as prescribed.
• Work as a valued team member with good attendance, open to training and learning and supporting all co-workers to ensure production goals are met.
