Job summary

US1113 FreshPoint Southern California, Inc., part of Sysco, is seeking a warehouse checker to support nightly operations at our Southern California facility. You will run critical reports, verify orders, and ensure loads are properly reserved and weighed, supporting efficient distribution.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and about one year of warehouse experience. Join a large foodservice leader and contribute to safe, accurate, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Run reports necessary for the night’s workload (Special instructions, Special Orders Item, Handstack Report).
• Examine all double-check customers and have the loads reserved.
• Inspect loads that are designated on the special instructions report.
• Verify that the special order items are selected and placed on the correct pallet.
• Validate weights on the catch weight variation report.
• Check reshipped orders if necessary.
• Review new accounts being delivered.
• Gather paperwork from the night and place in the Manager’s mailbox.
• Fill out the checker audit spreadsheet to track work for the night.
• Research product that could not be found via a short chaser (warehouse out).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
