Job summary

US Foods in Manassas, VA is seeking a dedicated custodian/maintenance associate for the warehouse. The shift runs Sunday–Thursday from 2:00 PM until finish, with duties centered on cleaning, trash handling, and basic upkeep of the facility.

You will assist with pallets, spills, and light maintenance, and operate warehouse equipment as needed. High school education or GED preferred; ability to read and follow instructions is essential.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing legibly.
• Following orders and instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks, sweepers, floor scrubbers, bailer, hydraulic trash compactor).

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and cleans entire warehouse to maintain cleanliness.
• Empties trash bins, cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.
• Pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
• Addresses spills or breakages and determines disposal or resale per safety rules.
• Performs light maintenance tasks and tracks supplies.
• Maintains facility grounds and dumpster areas.
• Operates scrubber, pallet jack, and high lift if required.
