Job summary

Sysco Seattle, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support nightly operations, run reports, inspect loads, verify weights, and ensure accurate palletization and loading procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred, and strong computer skills with Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• 1 year warehouse experience is preferred.
• Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Run reports necessary for the night’s workload (Special instructions, Special Orders Item, Handstack Report).
• Examine all double-check customers and have the loads reserved.
• Inspect loads designated on the special instructions report; spot check pallets if waiting on pallets.
• Verify that the special order items are selected and placed on the correct pallet.
• Validate weights on the catch weight variation report.
• Check any reshipped orders if necessary.
• Review any new accounts being delivered.
• Gather paperwork from the course on the night and place it in the Manager’s mailbox.
• Fill out the checker audit spreadsheet to track work for the night.
• Research product that could not be found via a short chaser (warehouse out).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
