Job summary

Vesta in Hayward, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, scan, pack, label, and move inventory across the warehouse and to job sites, following SOPs and PPE requirements. The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and accurate inventory handling.

You will operate warehousing equipment after training, maintain organization, inspect products for quality, and support loading/unloading while using company software for reporting and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of warehouse experience preferred
• Proficiency in using warehouse hardware, including handheld scanners and both Apple and Android handheld devices
• Familiarity with company software for basic communication and reporting (email, Slack, spreadsheets)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Conversational English required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Capable of consistently lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, pack, label, and safely move inventory through the warehouse and to job sites following SOPs
• Utilize basic scanner functions to track inventory movement
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks/containers with proper equipment and protection
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Conduct visual inspections for damages and blemishes
• Operate an Order Picker forklift after training
• Identify inventory SKU and S/N designations
• Demonstrate proper use of material handling equipment
• Properly use PPE as required
• Perform basic product refurbishment and cleaning
