Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Albuquerque is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our logistics team. You will assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments, mechanically operate a forklift or pallet jacks, place and pull stock from storage, and ensure safety by chocking wheels and maintaining clean, orderly work areas.

Qualifications

• Physical demands include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 48 pounds
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
• Work may involve repetitive motions, varying heights, and exposure to warehouse conditions
• Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules may be required

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, or order-picker safely
• Place and pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse
• Ensure wheels of trucks being unloaded are chocked before unloading begins
• Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations
• Stock forward pick locations in the bottle room and full case line neatly
• Restock bottle and case returns from customer orders
• Sort pallets by size
• Handle broken cases and re-box good bottles for disposal
• Leave equipment in good working order and area clean
• Wear company-issued safety equipment and report damage promptly
• Perform other related duties as assigned
