Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the night shift. The role involves receiving, packing, loading, and staging shipments, and using a forklift or pallet jack to move goods safely.

You will participate in order picking for VIA orders, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures while supporting other team members during peak periods. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and union protections.

Qualifications

• Physical demands include considerable time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
• Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds.
• Must regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments.
• Mechanically use a forklift, pallet jacks, or order-picker to move materials safely.
• Place and pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse.
• Ensure safety measures such as wheel chocks before unloading.
• Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations.
• Stock forward pick locations in the bottle room and full case line neatly.
• Restock bottle and case returns from customer orders.
• Pick VIA orders for Salesmen and Customers.
• Store out-of-place product as directed by the supervisor.
• Sort pallets by size and maintain organized areas.
• Handle broken cases and re-box good bottles; send broken items to dump.
• Leave equipment in good working order and free of trash.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned warehouse area.
• Report any equipment or building damage to a supervisor.
