Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Elk Grove, CA is hiring for a warehouse associate to support receiving, picking, packing and shipping tasks. The Sunday night shift runs 7:30pm to 4:00am, with additional hours up to 29 per week, based on available shifts.

Qualifications

• We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. Training provided on day one.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or point of sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurate picking, quality checks, packing, and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack).
