Job summary

Elbit America in Roanoke, VA, is seeking a production operator to support daily manufacturing of image intensifier products. You will operate production equipment, inspect components, and ensure quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work under time constraints, and willingness to work in a dark room with specialized testing equipment. Strong data entry skills and experience with ERP are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electronics certification preferred.
• One year of prior production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and monitor workflow in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform tests using visual, automated and manual test equipment to determine form, fit and quality of image intensifiers.
• Follow and complete test specifications with repetition and accuracy.
• Read and understand work specifications, flow charts and drawings.
• Use ERP systems to track products and enter data accurately.
• Ability to use a microscope for up to 7 hours daily.
• Ability to work independently in a dark room.
• Follow and complete processes with repetitions and accuracy.
• Make minor decisions on tube quality via visual inspection.
• Ability to write and to write legibly.
