Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ The Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA seeks a Veterinary Assistant for the overnight shift. You’ll support veterinarians, keep equipment clean, handle patients, and perform clerical tasks to ensure smooth care.

Open 24/7 emergency services, with a focus on compassionate patient care and client support. The role requires ER experience, high school diploma, and ability to work nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum ER experience, strong basic technician skills.
• Experience with patient handling and medical records.
• Good communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, take vital signs on arrival.
• Triage patients and assist with examinations and medications.
• Calm anxious patients and assist doctors and technicians.
• Perform labs and radiographs, operate hospital equipment.
